Oil Cleansing Method

So, I've started trying the oil cleansing method (OCM) because I got a pimple on my fourhead (yes four instead of fore) and that is not a good look when you can't cover it. Lol

I'm sure of that some women here already cleanse their face with olive oil but this method combines castor oil and any other carrier oil you decide; However it's not equal parts. The parts kind of go like this:

Oily Skin: Try a blend of 30% Castor Oil to 70% other Oil.


Balanced Skin: Try a blend of 20% Castor Oil to 80% other Oil.

Dry Skin: Try a blend of 10% Castor Oil to 90% other Oil.

You basically massage this mixture on your face & neck and then apply a steaming rag (preferably white to avoid dyes) to your face a few times. I know, I know, I know: How does oil clean your face that is already oily or won't it leave  your face an oily mess? The answer is NO. Basically, these oils have the same ph that our natural oils on our face has. When we use all those otc cleansers we are essentially stripping our faces (and using sulfates!!!) IF YOU DON'T PUT IT IN YOUR HAIR, WHY WOULD YOU PUT IT ON YOUR FACE????? When you apply the hot washcloth it steams open your pores and allows the castor oil to remove the dirt(or whatever else) in your pores and the other oil to moisturize. Apply the washcloth a few times or whatever works for you and then wipe your face.

I can tell you that my pimple has gone away. Lol..

This morning:

The mark is there because I never listen and yup: I messed with it! SMH...But all the swelling has gone down around it, my face feels great, NEVER OILY.
