Meet Young Black Artist Angel Orphee

On a search to find a black artist I was told of Ms. Angel. I looked at her work and was really impressed. I personally don't  know any artist, so it was truly inspiring to meet her. Meet ANGEL ORPHEE!

How long have you been painting?

"I've been painting and drawing since I was 6."

What's your inspirations?

"My inspiration varies between my experiences and random thoughts that come to mind; I think its god given."

 
I love this piece with the young guy and the baby.

"The piece you are refering to is "I am who I am".  It is the story of a young man in two crossroads of finding out who he really is. The business attire refers to taking up responsibilty or the street side, which speaks for it self. They're are so many young men who don't believe in change for themselves. They believe that the choice of the street brings unconditional love but yet the streets are unforgiving and have no sensitivity."
