So, I know a lot of us hear of Essential oils but don't know where to find them: how about in your own house! This is rather simple:
Herbs (lavender, rosemary, mint etc)
Carrier oil (evoo, coconut etc)
Something to drain particles
They say the measurements are quarter ounce of herbs for one cup of oil.
Now, here's several methods to this.
YOu can put it in your crock pot/slow cooker and cook for 4 to 8 hours
In the oven, put it in a pan, temp about 150 and cook for about 2 hours.
Mason jar and let sit outside for two weeks.
Boil on lowest temp for about 2 to 4 hours.
Then drain using a cheesecloth, stocking..or whatever
Store in a dark container AWAY from the sun.
I boiled mine and actually left the rosemary ( I <3 rosemary) in with it. Use sparingly cause this stuff is strong.
Happy homemaking! =)
This is one of my all time favorite things to ...I use dried herbs in a lot of my hair care products...I infuse my oils...my ACV...my blk tea rinses...and my homemade daily spritz, from time to time. The results are fantastic!
